Periodontist
Dr. Monica Bazan is a board certified periodontist that has been practicing dentistry since 1998. She is originally from Houston, Texas and graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998 and completed her periodontal residency from the University of Maryland in 2003.
Dr. Bazan prides herself on staying up-to-date on procedures and having the latest equipment and instrumentation available to serve her patients. She is conservative in her treatment plans so that she is able to achieve predictable and successful outcomes for her patients. She takes the time to do a thorough clinical examination and discusses the treatment options with her patients at length. She aspires to have the patient completely understand the options available so that they are able to make the most appropriate decision for their situation.
Dr. Bazan practices dentistry because she loves it. She treats people as she wants to be treated, and her patients confirm that she is achieving her goal.
On a more personal note, she is an avid marathon runner and loves sharing her passion for a healthy lifestyle.
