Dr. Bonds earned a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. After working in East Texas in the oil and gas industry in environmental compliance, Dr. Bonds pursued graduate education at UT Dallas before transferring to Baylor College of Dentistry where he completed a dual degree PhD/DDS program. On top of earning his DDS degree, he authored multiple research papers focused on tooth development and genetics.
Dr. Bonds's passion for dentistry stems from having a gap between his front teeth filled by his dentist when he was in high school. This small change helped him gain self-confidence and he wanted to be able to pass on that feeling to other people, so dentistry was the path he chose.
A dedicated professional, Dr. Bonds is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI), staying at the forefront of advancements in dentistry.
Life outside of the dental office is delightfully busy for Dr. Bonds and his wife thanks to their five children, one boy and four girls. They also have a mini-Australian Shepherd named Smoky and a Red Heeler named Chili. When he doesn’t have his hands full, being a dad, he likes to play golf and read books.
